Artista sueco, empezo sus estudios con y dibujo y despues de cerca de quince años descubrió que su trabajo carecía de algo más. Por eso hacia finales de los noventa empezó a experimentar con sonido. Esto comenzo con simples grabaciones hechas en minidisc que fueron lentamente produciendo más y más curiosidad por explorar lo sonoro. Sus primeros trabajos fueron influenciados por los pioneros suecos de los sesenta como Åke Hodell y Öyvind Fahlström. Actualmente trabaja en registros de campo pensados para ser reproducidos en espacios públicos, tanto de interior como exterior. Por ejemplo en el Parkggarage, tuneles, supermercados, librerias, salas de espera etc.

En Tsonami Kent presentará The Bloop and other sounds of the ocean una pieza construida en base a un sonido llamado El Bloop. Este sonido fue grabado en las costas de Chile en 1997 con hidrófonos. Cita de un articulo de CNN:
“Científicos han revelado un misterioso registro submarino que podría ser el sonido de una gigantesca bestia de las profundidades del océano. Investigadores an llamado a este extraño sonido El Bloop. Este es mucho mas potente que cualquier llamada hechas por una criatura hasta ahora conocida en la tierra. Científicos Britanicos reportaron: Es demasiado grande para ser de una ballena y una teoría es que pertenece a un monstruo submarino, posiblemente de múltiples tentáculos.
Este montaje se realizara en el Centro Comercial Tres Palacios, utilizando el sistema de audio del mismo centro comercial para reproducir la pieza. Además se realizará una versión de la pieza en PIA MICHELLE, centro de arte contemporaneo que se ubica en el mismo centro comercial

As an artstudent I studied painting and drawing. After about fifteen years I found that my work was lacking something. That´s why I at the end of the 90:s started to experiment with sound. It began with simple recordings I did with a minidisc and a portastudio. The more involved I got into sound the more fascinated I became. My early works were influenced by the swedish pioneers from the 60:s like Åke Hodell and Öyvind Fahlström. Today I do soundscapes meant to be played in public spaces, both indoors and outdoors. For example in parkinggarage, tunnels, supermarkets, libraries, foyers, waitingrooms etc.

For Tsonami Festival 2011 kent will show The Bloop and other sounds of the ocean. This is a part of an exhibition that was produced by the operahouse Norrlandsoperan in Umeå, Sweden. The basic structure of the piece is built on a sound that is named the Bloop. This sound was registrered outside the coast of Chile in 1997. This is from an article on cnn.com
